Inquiries about town and local history can be sent to the museum by email (). An on-site appointment for independent research can be arranged.

Books from the museum library, with its holdings on town and regional history, as well as on mining in the Ore Mountains, folklore, traditions and local history, can be made available for research in the museum rooms upon request.
